I rented a skid loader for a full day to move dirt. I was only able to use it for 5 hours. Halfway through the day pushing dirt the skid loader blew a hydraulic line. I called Patrick Rentals to report the issue. They told me to bring it back and they would give me another loader. When I returned this broken equipment, there was not another loader like the one I rented. The employees then offered me a tracked loader, but I would have to pay the price difference. I went to the Mcdonough location where they had me unload the inoperable piece of equipment they originally rented me, and told me to have a nice day. I tried discussing my frustrations with the employees with no resolutions. I proceeded to contact the owner. The owner was rude and unprofessional. He accused me of damaging the equipment and said I ran it for more than a half a day. I paid for a whole day not a half day. There is a price difference between these two. So clearly, I would want a refund for the time not used. The hydraulic line was not caused by use, but from wear and tear with not proper upkeep. We were finally able to agree on Patrick Rentals refunding me $50 and my deposit. Unfortunately this turned out to be another lie. I was only refunded 35 dollars and my deposit. What happened to the other $15? Who knows. I will never rent or recommend anyone to this company. This is not a place consumers should go who expect honest customer service and working equipment.
